Each year, Children’s Hospital New Orleans provides care to thousands of patients, regardless of his or her family’s ability to pay. Many of our patients fall below the poverty line and rely on Medicaid. We pride ourselves on providing extraordinary healthcare to every child who walks through our doors. At CHNOLA, healthcare goes beyond medicine and is about caring for every child – and even their families – as a whole person.

Unfortunately, many of our patient families come to Children's Hospital wearing just the clothes on their backs, often without a change of clothes or even a toothbrush. To help alleviate any additional stress our families may face in an already stressful situation, we often provide our families with anything they may need, including clothes, shoes, toiletries, car seats, and pack-n-plays. This is an ongoing need in our patient community, and we are reaching out to our friends for help!
