Extraordinary care, just for kids!
Mason Villagran was born a twin to his sister Malaya Villagran. Mason was born with ASD/VSD and AV valve deficiency and lung disease. He had 3 heart procedures along with over 20 blood transfusions within his first 10 months of his life of which time he lived in the NICU for just shy of 6 months. Mason had several other procedures for other health issues that are common with heart pediatric babies. After two months home he returned to Children's which Mason spent 4 months between CICU and Heart Floor. Mason's time after recoveryfrom his last heart surgery entailed his return home with OT, PT and Speech therapy along with daily follow up care.
Mason gained his wings on April 22, 2016 at two years five months of age. Mason was a true warrior during his short life.
Mason's family has dedicated this fund to assist families in the CICU (Cardiac Intensive Care Unit) to provide meals, food, Christmas gifts and more. By donating these funds have been designated by his family to go to this cause as they know personally the need the families of CICU.
